Terms & Conditions
1. Deposit & Booking
Application: A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to reserve your storage slot and bin delivery date. This deposit is credited toward your final package balance.
Commitment Date: Deposits are non-refundable after April 15th. Cancellations made before this date may be eligible for a partial refund at the company’s discretion.
2. Bin Usage & Safety
Weight Limit: For the safety of our team and the integrity of the bins, a strict 50lb weight limit applies per bin. Bins exceeding this limit are subject to a $25 "Heavy Item" fee or may require repacking into an additional bin at the customer's expense.
Prohibited Items: Customers may not store perishables, liquids, explosives, flammable materials, hazardous chemicals, or any illegal substances.
Bin Care: Bins remain the property of StudentWarehousing.com. Lost or significantly damaged bins will result in a $35 replacement fee per bin.
3. Logistics: Pickup & Delivery
Scheduling: Bin drop-offs and pickups must be scheduled through our portal at least 48 hours in advance.
The "No-Show" Fee: If our team arrives for a scheduled pickup/delivery and the customer is not present (or the items are not ready), a $35 rescheduling fee will be applied.
Service Area: Standard pricing covers addresses within the Cache Valley area. Locations outside this radius may be subject to a fuel surcharge.
4. Liability & Insurance
Standard Coverage: StudentWarehousing.com provides complimentary basic coverage of up to $100 per bin for loss or damage caused by our gross negligence.
Exclusions: We are not liable for internal damage to electronics (without signs of external bin trauma), fragile items not properly padded (glass, ceramics), or "Acts of God" (natural disasters).
High-Value Items: We strongly discourage the storage of high-value jewelry, currency, or irreplaceable legal documents.
5. Abandonment & Non-Payment
Final Payment: The remaining balance of your selected package (The Hillside, The Central, or The Square) is due upon the initial pickup of your items.
Unclaimed Items: Items not scheduled for redelivery by September 15th (without prior arrangement) will be considered abandoned. After 30 days of abandonment, StudentWarehousing.com reserves the right to donate or sell the items to recover storage costs.
